Coimbatore-born EV Scooter company Ampere and top automobile giants showcase latest offerings at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025!

EV scooter manufacturer Ampere which had its genesis and growth in Coimbatore, and now owned by Greaves Cotton, unveiled 3 new vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is being held from 17-22 January, 2025 across three separate venues: Bharat Mandapam & Yashobhoomi in New Delhi and India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida. All venues will be open to the public from January 19 to January 22, and visitors will be allowed inside between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. only.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this expo today and while delivering the inaugural address, he said that the Indian auto industry has a huge potential and is future-ready.
Greaves-owned Ampere launched Ampere Xpress - one of the very first multi-purpose electric scooter that offers payload upto 230 kg. The company launched Xyber - a stylish electric bike that offers range upto 200 kms, and comes equipped with fash charging capabilities. And it launched 2 versions of Nexus Exec - an high performance family electric scooter in executive class variant and Nexus Tourismo S - a premium race-edition scooter.

Tata Motors unveiled Avinaya X – a luxury passenger vehicle
An electric version of Harrier called Harrier.ev was showcased

Morris Garages unveiled Cyberster - an electric sportscar.
Hyundai showcased the electric version of its popular SUV Creta
Maruti Suzuki revealed its first EV - the e-Vitara. It is rumoured to offer a range of 500 kms.
Kia unveiled its new EV6 2025 . It offers a range of over 650 kms.
BMW introduced its iX1 LWB at a price tag of Rs.49 lakhs (ex-showroom)
