21,000+ runners take part in Walkaroo Coimbatore Marathon 2024; Here are the results!

The 12th edition of Walkaroo Coimbatore Marathon powered by ELGi, the largest sporting event in Coimbatore was held in the city on Sunday with over 21,000 participants from Coimbatore and different parts of India, running for a noble cause. 
Coimbatore Marathon brought to the city by Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF) in association with Coimbatore Runners and Show Space Events is also held a fundraiser to aid CCF in order to support cancer patients. 
This is a world-class running event with 4 categories - a 21.1 km run (half marathon); a 10 km run; a 5 km run and a 5 km walk besides a corporate relay is recognised by the Tamil Nadu Athletic Association. 
The half-marathon was flagged off by Kranthi Kumar IAS, Coimbatore District Collector and V.Balakrishnan IPS, Commissioner - Coimbatore City Police while former DGP of Tamil Nadu, C.Sylendra Babu flagged off the 10 km run in the presence of Dr.Balaji, Managing Trustee, CCF; V Noushad, Founder, Walkaroo and many other guests. 
The total cash prize is Rs. 4.25 lakh. All participants were provided medals, certificates and breakfast while the winners were rewarded with cash prizes.
