Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA - Coimbatore South Constituency met the protesting Sanitation Workers in Covai on Wednesday, in person, and offered her support to them. 

Addressing the media, she said that the wages determined during the meeting with the District Collector earlier should be given to the sanitation workers, working on a contract basis immediately.

She wanted the State Government's intervention in this matter and assured that she will bring up this topic for discussion in the Assembly when it convenes.
