The timings of the trains from Karanataka's Vijayapura which pass by Coimbatore and go to Kerala's Kottayam have been changed, sources said.

As per these changes, Train no. 07385 will be operated from Karanataka's Vijayapura to Kerala's Kottayam between November 21, 2022 and January 16, 2023 on Mondays at 11 p.m. as a weekly special train. It will reach Kottayam on Wednesdays at 2.20 p.m.

Similarly, Train no. 07386 will be operated between November 23, 2022 and January 18, 2023 from Kerala's Kottayam to Karanataka's Vijayapura on Wednesdays at 3.30 p.m. It will reach Vijayapura on Thursdays at 8.30 p.m.

This train will stop briefly at Ernakulam, Trichur, Palakkadu, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Pangarapettai, Krishnarajapuram and few other stations.

Likewise, timings of a few other trains - Alappuzha to Chennai Express, that is operated via Coimbatore and Mangalore Central to Chennai Central Express Train that is operated via Podanur have been changed.

The Mangalore Central to Chennai Central Express, Train no. 12602 that is operated via Podanur will depart from Mangalore at 1.35 p.m. instead of 1.30 p.m. and reach Podanur at 9.55 p.m., Tirupur by 10.45 p.m., Erode by 11.40 p.m. and will finally reach Chennai on 6.10 a.m. the next day, sources said.
