Tamil Nadu Agricultural University announced on 8.7.24 that it will be offering new Diploma Courses and Certificate Courses in distance learning mode through its Directorate of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) from this year onwards.

In that regard, TNAU and all the agriculture colleges and research centers in the State will offer diploma courses on Protected Cultivation, Agri-based Drone Technology, Smart Farming, Hydroponics and on few more areas. The classes for these courses will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.

A meeting was held today at the varsity to announce the introduction of these courses, and it was presided by V. Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU.
