Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology (COXBIT) is organizing Agri-Tech Start-up Business Meet 2025 from 08.02.2025 to 12.02.2025 at TNAU, Coimbatore.

At this event, 13 different agri-based companies will be sharing their views about their products and how they are used in agriculture sectors.

Around 180 participants attended this meeting on Day 1 including public who came to visit the 7th Edition of TNAU Covai Flower Show 2025 and students from various institutions and general public.

Gajalakshmi from Aviva Organics, Chennai spoke about millets in recent food trends. She underlined the importance of traditional rice varieties and insisted about the medicinal benefits of the rice variety Annamazhagi. She also promoted the benefits of consuming millet-based value added products like ready mix and flakes.

Pradheep representing the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCI) spoke about the role of ICCI in contributing to Coimbatore’s growth and prosperity by engaging in activities related to trade, industry, services and farming. He highlighted the importance of AI technologies in Agriculture which will transform the future of farming.

Prof.M. Sudha from Biotechnology Department and Prof.K.Guruswamy, Assistant professor from Biochemistry Department of CPMB&B, TNAU also attended.
