Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (AEC&RI) conducted a training session on Biogas Technology at its Biogas Development and Training Centre for staff between Feb 4th and 7th.

As a part of this training, field visits were arranged for the participants to acquire practical knowledge on biogas plant construction and maintenance aspects. The valedictory was held on Feb 7th at AEC&RI.

Ramesh, Professor and Head cum Coordinator-BDTC summarized the activities under this program. A. Raviraj, Dean (Engg.), AEC & RI delivered presidential address and highlighted the importance of the training. He then presented the certificates to the trainees.

Earlier, V.Palaniselvam, Professor, Department of the Renewable Energy Engineering of AEC& RI welcomed the gathering. At the end of the event, M.Ammaan, Senior Technical Assistant (BDTC) formally rendered the note of gratitude.
