Sri Ramakrishna Pharmacy College, Coimbatore, held its 31st graduation ceremony on Saturday at SNR Auditorium in the city.
Principal, Dr. T. K. Ravi delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report. R. Sundar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust presided over the program. Dr. K. Narayanasamy,Vice-Chancellor, The TamilNadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, was the Chief Guest.
Dr. T. K. Ravi in his address stressed that the Pharmacists are key players in patient care, overseeing the safe and appropriate use of medicines, while also championing health and wellness in the community.
R.Sundar in his address underscored the significant miles stones in the growth of pharmacy education India, and also he highlighted the role of pharmacists in ensuring affordable prices, safety, and clinical efficacy of medicines.
The Chief Guest Dr. K. Narayanasamy delivered the Graduation Day address. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, hardwork, and dedication in achieving success. He expressed strong support for the advancement of Pharmaceutical research, stressing its importance in developing innovative treatments and therapies that can significantly improve global healthcare.
In this momentous occasion, 300 graduates received their degree-certificates. Institutional Gold medalist Gayathri Senbagam V.,Pooja S. (B. Pharm), Arin Natania S.,Arathi.C., AnjaliM.A.(Pharm.D), overall first rank holder Sweety Kuriakose, Anjali.K.,(M. Pharm), Shine G Vargheese, Lokeshvaran. S. (Pharm. D PB) were honored in recognition of their academic excellence and achievements.
Alumni Association of the institution joined hands with the college to honour the best outgoing students, Keerthi.K ; Thaiyalnayagi, Nadhini.S with awards.
