Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women celebrated India’s 76th Independence Day on Monday with Colonel B.B.Pandian taking part in the celebration as the Chief Guest. 

Principal of the college K.Chitra, presided over the speech and urged the students that women should contribute to the economic development of the Indian nation in the future.

 Special guest Colonel B.B.Pandian spoke about the progress India has made since independence and said that we should be proud to be Indians. The ceremony ended on a grand note with the performances of the students who expressed the unity of the country, the sacrifices of the soldiers and the martial arts.
