Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC) inaugurated the Library Readers Club recently. Sivakumar, Librarian, PSG CAS was the Chief Guest of the program and he inaugurated the club in the presence of R.Jagajeevan, Principal, SKASC. D.Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Librarian coordinated the event.

Speaking at the event, Mr.Sivakumar said that Indians read an average of 10.4 hours a week, while people in China read just 8hrs, America 5.4 hours, England 5.18 hours and Japan 4.06 hours a week respectively. 

He said that information is the sixth resource for humans' survival, and without information, we cannot advance in society.
