Welcoming the new batch of UG students to the college, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women (SRCW) hosted a Freshers Orientation Program recently.

Dr.SudhaSeshayyan, Director and Indo-Japan G20 Chair Professor at Sastra University, Chennai Campus took part as the Chief Guest, and emphasized the students to set their own goals and put consistent effort to achieve them.

The College’s Principal, K. Chitra highlighted the institution’s achievements and congratulated the new students on beginning their college journey. The event was presided over by D. Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust under which Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions and Sri Ramakrishna Hospital runs.

The senior-students of the college welcomed the freshers with seed balls, to subtly convey that every student has the potential to grow and flourish. Additionally, the Health Club of the college provided free medical checkups, in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore.
