To connect and collaborate with its alumni in Singapore, the Alumni Association of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore (SREC) inaugurated its Overseas Chapter in Singapore recently.


The inaugural was held at Clarke Quay, Singapore recently. D.Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust inaugurated the chapter and felicitated all the alumni.


The office bearers of the Singapore chapter of the alumni association were installed during the ceremony. Padmashree of 2006 batch is the President supported by the alumni from different batches.


N.R. Alamelu, Principal of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College and Patron of the Alumni Association presented the development of the institution and the support of the alumni.

 

This is the third overseas chapter for the association as it already has similar chapters in the US and Europe, and domestic chapters in Chennai and Bengaluru also.

 

The chapter inauguration was also attended by senior faculty members, alumni from Singapore and Malaysia along with the family members.

The College has 15000+ alumni currently across the globe, and it looks to add hundreds more at the completion of every academic year.
