Recognizing the significant contributions of Vanitha Mohan, Managing Trustee of Siruthuli to society through initiatives aimed at conserving and restoring water bodies, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - Coimbatore honoured her with the Kulapati Munshi Award 2024 on Thursday.

M.M. Murugappan, Chairman of Carborundum Universal Ltd., presented the award to her in the presence of B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - Coimbatore.

Vanitha Mohan dedicated the award to the committed volunteers of Siruthuli, particularly the youth, who she credited for the NGO's various accomplishments.She said that Siruthuli is dedicated to carry on with water body restoration works and water conservation activities for as long as necessary, because they, especially the preservation of water bodies, are crucial for the health of the entire community.
