Non-Governmental Organizations Round Tables and Ladies Circles from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Pollachi, Calicut, Cochin, and Ranchi, involved in undertaking various charitable activities, contributed 240 limbs to those in need on Tuesday, as a part of their Round Table India Week 2024 activities. On this occasion, 12 beneficiaries from in and around Coimbatore received artificial limbs.
The Artificial Limb Centre, with its 38-year legacy run by Coimbatore City Round Table 31 and Coimbatore City Ladies Circle 16, has been transforming lives by restoring mobility and independence. Located in Puram near the Ladies Club, this center stands as a beacon of support and service, offering life-changing assistance to those in need.
On this occasion blood donors were recognized for their invaluable service by Tabler Manoj, Principal Parimala and Regional Director, Dept of Education Rajendran. Area Chairman Raghulan Shekar, Area Chairperson Aishwarya Gupta, National Secretary Vishnu Prabhakaran were the chief guests for the event. Convenor of the Artificial Limb Centre Arihant Parikh, Chairman Lakshmiganth, Chairperson Vidhya, along with city Table Chairmen and Chairpersons were present.
