Coimbatore Auto Sports Club is organizing Round 2 of the Blue Band FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2022 for four-wheelers in Coimbatorebetween July 29 and 31, 2022.

The scrutiny and ceremonial flag-off will be held at Jennys Residency on Friday, July 29followed by two days of competition. Coimbatore City Police Commissioner, Balakrishnan IPS will be flagging off the event.

The thrill of the rally held on specifically carved dirt tracks can be witnessed on Saturday and Sunday by rally enthusiasts.
There has been a steady increase in the number of entries and this round will witness 54 cars and 8 teams along with privateers in various INRC categories from across India.

The 5 main race categories for the Championship would be - INRC, INRC2, INRC3, INRC4, Junior INRC apart from the Gypsy Challenge Cup.

These events will begin this weekend. On Saturday Stages 1 and 2 would be held at L&T Bypass Road near G-Square City, and on Sunday at Kethanur windmill farms.

On July 30, SM Agro stage will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at L&T Bypass Road, near MDS Bakery. On July 31, Kethanur Stage will be held between 9.30 a.m. and 2 p.m.near Kethanur 4 Corner Junction.

The total prize money is around Rs. 6 lakh. The Podium Ceremony will be held at theService Park located at Vinayaga Mahal Kalayana Mandapam, Palladam Road, Kethanur at 3.30 p.m.

Entries are open to the public. Special Spectator Points are located at various rally locations where the public can safely capture the intense action.

Blue Band Sports Management Pvt Ltd is the official Promoter nominated by the Federation Motor Sports Club of India to host the 2022-24 Championship Seasons.

The Round 1 of the Championships was successfully concluded at Chennai on April 22-25, 2022. The other rounds are scheduled to be held at Bangalore and Nagaland later in the year.
