Pastor John Jebaraj, who went untraceable after the police booked him under POCSO act, was arrested at Munaar, Kerala by a special police team on Saturday and was brought to Coimbatore on early hours of Sunday.

Jebaraj served as the pastor of Kings Generation Church on Cross Cut Road in Coimbatore, and is accused of sexually assaulting 2 minor girls on May 21, 2024. 

Following a complaint by one of the girl's family members after 11 months, the police booked the pastor in 2 sections of POCSO act. Fearing arrest, the sensational pastor went hiding and sought anticipatory bail from Madras HC a day after the police issued a lookout notice for him.

He was brought to All Women Police Station in Katoor for procedures and he will be produced before the POCSO court judge shortly.
