Mumbai-based energy efficiency and renewable energy services provider Epic Energy Limited has officially commenced commercial production of EV chargers at its Coimbatore-based manufacturing facility as of February 10, 2025, a report confirmed.

EPIC Energy inked a Joint Venture Agreement with Coimbatore-based Fenfeo Automation Private Limited in September 2024 to establish an Electric Vehicle Charger manufacturing facility in Coimbatore with an installed capacity of 15,000 Chargers per annum.

This state-of-the-art facility, operating under Epic EV Chargers Pvt Ltd (EEVCPL), is set to manufacture a wide range of AC and DC chargers, including Commerical Chargers, Residential Chargers with capacities between 3.3 kWh and 60 kWh under the 'RapidEVChargE' brand besides offering Fleet Charging Solution, Public Charging Solutions, etc.
