Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Centre for Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and the School of Post Graduate Studies jointly organized the PG finishing school programme on “Molecular Modeling and Docking”

The two-day programmes for the post graduate and doctoral students concluded yesterday.

Among the 55 total registered participants (17 PG & 38 Ph. D.), 20 participants from different agricultural science departments which includes Agricultural Microbiology, Agricultural Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, Sericulture, Nematology and Vegetable Science were selected for this programme.

Dr. N. Senthil, Dean (SPGS) & Director (CPMB&B) explained the importance of bioinformatics skills in performing good research towards high impact publications.
