Railways mulling introduction of Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express

It appears that the Indian Railway is giving a serious thought about introducing a couple of Vande Bharat trains this year, and as per sources, one such Vande Bharat Express Train could operate between the Bengalure-Coimbatore route.
While reporting about the trial run of Vande Bharat Express via Bengaluru-Hubballi-Dharwad which is set to take place today (12.4.23), MoneyControl said "Railways is also mulling the introduction of Vande Bharat trains on routes like Bengaluru-Kacheguda in Hyderabad and Bengaluru- Coimbatore."
The same was reported by Times Now on Wednesday.
As assembly election in Karnataka is set to take place next month, we may not receive any updates on this as of now but once the election is over, a confirmation on this possible Vande Bharat between Bengaluru and Coimbatore is expected.
