V.Senthil Balaji, Tamil Nadu's Minister for Electricity, Prohibition and Excise, and the Minister put in charge of Coimbatore's development by the Chief Minister M.K.Stalin honored Manikandan, Founder of MK Group of Companies, Coimbatore and 17 other illustrious personalities from Kongu region on Sunday at the Dinamalar Malar Magudam Awards ceremony. 

At the age of 28, Mr.Manikandan is the youngest among the 18 awardees to receive the Dinamalar Mani Magudam Award for being a successful entrepreneur. His business ventures include Tourism, Construction, Sports & Wellness, etc., and he is in plans to step inside the Manufacturing sector too. 

Carrying a decade of industrial experience with him, Manikandan has become one of the most successful first-generation entrepreneurs in Coimbatore. 

"I see this as not just an award but a motivation to achieve more and reach greater heights in the years to come," he said on Monday, during a brief interaction.
