The conventional coaches of Train No.11013 / 11014 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express Trains are to be replaced by LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) Coaches.

Train No.11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Express Train will run with LHB coaches with effect from November 25, while train No.11014 Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express Train will run with LHB coaches with effect from November 27.

Important features of LHB Coaches: LHB coaches were developed by Linke-Hofmann-Busch of Germany. Now, these coaches are being manufactured in India.These coaches can be operated at higher speeds and have a higher
passenger capacity than conventional coaches and are also lighter as compared to conventional coaches.

Each coach has an advanced pneumatic disc brake system for efficient braking at higher speeds and modular interiors and the improved suspension system of LHB coaches provides more riding comfort to passengers. The air-conditioning system also higher capacity.
