The 13th edition of Kumaraguru Institutions’ flagship techno-cultural fest, Yugam 2025, concluded on a high note, leaving an indelible mark on participants, attendees, and stakeholders alike.

With the theme ‘Manifest’, this year’s Yugam inspired thousands to dream big and transform their aspirations into reality, offering a dynamic platform for innovation, creativity, and social change.

Over three exhilarating days, Yugam 2025 brought together 12,000+ participants from 200+ colleges across the country, featuring 150+ events, 45+ workshops, and 5 conclaves. The fest kicked off with the unveiling of Kumba, Yugam’s first-ever mascot, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, strength, and resilience. Kumba’s vibrant presence added a new dimension to the fest, engaging attendees through interactions, merchandise, and social media campaigns.

The Student Conclave for Climate Action and Inspire India YouthCon 2025 emerged as highlights, fostering meaningful discussions on sustainability, climate action, and the power of influence. Thought leaders like Jagdish Bakan IFS, Sangeetha Sindhi Bahl, and StanlyJohny shared invaluable insights, inspiring young minds to drive change. The Cyber Conclave and Kov.AI Conclave delved into cutting-edge topics like AI, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, equipping participants with future-ready skills.

The Shark Tank – The Angels’ Gate event saw 16 visionary startups pitch their ideas, with Diagnobacs and Aspada emerging as the winners, revolutionizing healthcare diagnostics and the fragrance industry, respectively. The Angadi 2025 trade fair, featuring 70+ stalls by student entrepreneurs, startups, and NGOs, provided a thriving marketplace for innovation and networking.

Yugam 2025 also reinforced its commitment to social impact through Socio Constant, focusing on inclusivity, gender equity, and community upliftment. The fest culminated in spectacular Proshows, featuring performances by Karthick Iyer, Sakthisree Gopalan, and an electrifying EDM night by Sunburn Campus.

Launch of Kumaraguru Society for Global Diplomacy (K-SGD)

A significant highlight of Yugam 2025 was the official launch of the Kumaraguru Society for Global Diplomacy (K-SGD), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering global awareness and diplomatic excellence among students. The event was inaugurated by Dr.StanlyJohny, International Affairs Editor at The Hindu, who emphasized the importance of international relations (IR) awareness and encouraged students to actively engage in global discourse.

With a structured five-year plan featuring collaborations, conferences, and policy publications, K-SGD is set to transform students into global changemakers, ready to navigate and influence the evolving world of international relations. This launch marks the beginning of an exciting journey toward fostering global citizenship and diplomatic expertise.
