If you're a Man, try to behave better everyday, and if you are a woman, your time has come, just come and demand it; otherwise the place won't be vacated by men, expressed Manoj Kumar, CEO, Naandi Foundation while delivering the graduation address at the first graduation ceremony of Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science on Monday.

The ceremony took place at the very iconic area inside Kumaraguru Campus, 'The Orb'. Totally, 139 graduates from UG and PG received their degrees from the Chief Guest. 

Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru Institutions welcomed the gathering, Vijila Edwin Kennedy, Principal, KCLAS presented the Annual Report. 

B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman, Kumaraguru Institutions in his Presidential Address said that India is set to thrive in the future but the youth of the country should not be complacent or relaxed but they need to put their best efforts and skill to prosper.

In his Graduation Address, the Chief Guest urged the graduates to be Authentic and Brave, be ready for Change and Diversity, develop Emotional Intelligence and think about the Food they eat, the Farmers who produce them.

He emphasized about the importance of Gender Equality.

He said patriarchy is something we are born with, and we need to take efforts to bring an end to it.

"It is so deeply embedded in our veins, cells and nerves to continue to propagate patriarchy. It is a tremendous disease that we are born with, and we need to strive to get out of it every single moment of our existence," he stressed.
