KPR College of Arts Science and Research held its first year induction program titled Pravartana recently at the college premises for the freshmen admitted in this new academic year. 


K.P.Ramasamy, Chairman, KPR Group presided. Renowned Tamil scholar, orator and actor G.Gnanasambandan and Editor of Namadhu Nambikai M.Muthaiah were the special guests of the event.


The guests urged the students to utilize the opportunities provided by the college and train themselves to become future achievers. They wanted them to never fail to develop their individual skills.


At the event, K.P.Ramasamy presented the Kurinji Tamil Semmal Award to G.Gnanasambandan, Kurinji Nattramil Nool Award to M.Muthaiah and Kurinji Tamil Best Teacher Award to Professors Sumathi and Yogesh.


More than 2500 people including the freshers and their students took part in the program.
