An advanced facility to help MSMEs in Coimbatore test their products manufactured for the Defence-sector will be launched at Kumaraguru Institutions in Sarvanampatti, Coimbatore tomorrow (4.10.2024).

More than 100 MSMEs develop products for defence sector in this region, and this facility will be a boon to them because large companies have their own testing centers but the same cannot be said for all in MSME category. 

Called KEnTec, this is a state of the art testing lab and innovation centre is developed by Kumaraguru Institutions and Envitest Laborotories based in Bengaluru at a cost of Rs. 3 crore. Sources shared that the latter has provided the grants while Kumaraguru Insitutions has provided the site and other required infrastructure.
