October 1st is an incredible day for coffee enthusiasts all over the world as this day is celebrated as International Coffee Day. 

To make this day a memorable one for coffee lovers, a photography contest was arranged by The Hindu in association with Coimbatore-based Kannan's Kaapi few days ago.

The Winners of the contest were issued free tickets to the movie Chitha for Sunday morning show, prior to the brief celebration of World Coffee Day held at PVR Cinemas in Brookfields on Sunday (Oct.1)

M.Krishnan, MD, Sri Krishna Sweets,  Ramachandran, President, Iyyapan Kovil – Sithaputhu and Premi, Past President, Bharathi Park Ladies Association were the Special Guests of the celebration. 

A.K.Jayakumar, Founder, J.Shanker Krishnan, Executive Director, Reshmi Shanker, Managing Partner, Kannan's Kaapi and R.L.N. Sivakumar, General Manager - The Hindu, Coimbatore also joined the celebration. 

The winners enjoyed watching the movie  starring Siddharth in the lead. The viewers thoroughly enjoyed the movie and Kannan's Kaapi together.

The viewers expressed their happiness in selecting this movie for them, and also said that it was truly entertaining at the same time packed with meaningful message.
