You may not have tried stage-plays or amusement parks in the recent times. You may find usual exhibitions to be the same but if you want something fresh, you got to try the upcoming entertainment show by the Great Bombay Circus in Coimbatore, starting this Friday,June 23rd. 

You can find 30+ different circus acts performed by talented artists from India, Nepal, China, and Ethiopia that will thrill you and tickle your funny bones. 

Sanjeev, Partner of the Great Indian Circus and Selvaraj, Co-ordinator of the event said in a press meet on Tuesday that after 6-7 years, the circus is returning to Coimbatore, and the shows will be held thrice a day at VOC Grounds for 40-45 days from this Friday.

Tickets start from Rs.100 and go upto Rs.400. The Rs.400 ticket can be booked over phone via the numbers 8893606308, 8778838082, 8714285256. Rest can be bought half an hour before the event. 

Sanjeev said that 30-40% concessions will be given to school students and groups after 2 weeks of the inaugural.

Talking about the condition of circus companies today, he said only 5 of them exist in India.

"Circus is a dying art, and without animals in the shows, the companies are finding it hard to attract crowd. Hence we want government to give us grounds for hosting events at concessional rates, and extend us the patronage that's given to films," Sanjeev said.
