GEM Hospital, Asia’s first dedicated tertiary health care centre in Gastroenterology and Laparoscopic Surgery, established its new hospital premises in Puducherry at Lawspet Main Road, Saram recently. 

The hospital was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Puducherry N. Rangaswamy in the presence of Pioneering laparoscopic surgeon and Founder of GEM Hospital, Dr. C. Palanivelu.

N. Namassivayam, Home Minister of Puducherry and K. Lakshminarayanan, Minister of Public Works - Puducherry were also present at the inaugural.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. C. Palanivelu, Chairman, GEM Hospital said, “Our hospital provides world class health care in the field of Gastroenterology and laparoscopic surgery.”
