One of the leading real estate developers in Tamil Nadu, G Square, which has primarily focused on selling plots across the state and in a few other key cities in South India, has now expanded its portfolio to include villas and apartments. The company plans to invest Rs.1,000 crore over the next few years to develop such projects in the state.
Sivakumar Pethaiyan, National Sales Head of G Square, addressed a press conference on Saturday, and shared that the company launched four projects in Coimbatore a week ago with a total project value of Rs.140 crore, and achieved a total sale of Rs.110 crore in just seven days.
These projects include plots, apartments, and villas, and are located in Neelambur, Ramanathapuram, Saravanampatti, and Pollachi. The sales have been remarkable, with 50% of available units sold in Pollachi, 80% sold in Ramanathapuram and Saravanampatti, and the Neelambur project also gaining traction.
G Square made its debut in the apartment and villa sector in Chennai, and after its success there, the firm has received an overwhelming response from customers in Coimbatore for its four high-demand plotted development projects. It is now expanding to Madurai and will soon launch apartment and villa projects across Tamil Nadu.
The real estate developer is set to launch seven to eight projects in Coimbatore in the near future, with two projects in Sulur and Kannampalayam expected to be launched within the next three to four months.
"We buy plots in locations with access to main roads, where we anticipate future development, and where the land is clear of disputes," Mr. Pethaiyan said.
He attributed the quick sale of units in the four Coimbatore projects to their prime locations, G Square's transparency, extensive promotional efforts, hassle-free documentation processes, and favorable market conditions, including the recent increase in tax savings on home loans announced in the budget, and auspicious muhurtham days.
Discussing future plans for Coimbatore, he revealed that G Square has acquired 800 acres of land in Kovaipudur, which is set to be developed as a landmark project featuring ultra-premium amenities.
