South Korean car-maker Kia has launched its first EV in India, the Kia EV6 today in New Delhi.

Hailed for its futuristic designs, the EV6 is expected to come with a 77KWh battery pack giving 528 kms in a single charge. The company claims that with their 351 KWh charger the battery can charge from 10-80% in just 18 mins. It can go from 0-100 km speed in 5.2 seconds.

As of now it is made in limited quantities as of now (100 nos.) according to Livemint, as the company is testing on acceptance and difference of making it locally instead of importing the units.

Bookings are accepted now in 13 cities including Chennai, and the car can be booked at Rs.3 lacs. The expected price is Rs. 55 lakhs (Ex-Showroom)
