The CSW Foundation, in collaboration with the District Tobacco Control Cell, Coimbatore, organized a Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign today at the Pullukadu Housing Unit, Police Boys and Girls Club. The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and encourage youth to adopt a tobacco-free lifestyle.

A Kabaddi match was conducted as part of the campaign, fostering a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition among the youth. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and medals to participants, celebrating their enthusiasm and commitment to the cause.

The campaign was graced by special guests including Dr. M. Saranya Devi, District Consultant, K. Murali Krishnan, Social Worker, M. Thoufiq, Psychologist, District Tobacco Control Cell, Coimbatore; Fazil, Joint Secretary and Jayshree, Program Coordinator, CSW Foundation.

The event witnessed active participation from the youth of the Pullukadu Housing Unit, who showcased their enthusiasm and commitment towards building a healthier, tobacco-free community. This campaign reinforces the CSW Foundation and District Tobacco Control Cell’s dedication to promoting a healthier lifestyle and empowering the younger generation to make positive choices.
