Sources conveyed that 2 new mega IT towers will be added to the ELCOT premises in Coimbatore at a cost of Rs. 2000 crore. This expansion will create the necessary space for more IT companies to establish their offices in Coimbatore, leading to significant job creation in the city. ELCOT's Managing Director, Kannan, reportedly said that this new project will generate 35,000 new jobs.
