Coimbatore-based industrial robots manufacturer and automation solutions provider, Goat Robotics, has entered Startup Singam— Tamil Nadu's first business reality TV show, airing on Vijay TV—and has already made heads turn with its Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).

This show is similar to the globally popular US business reality show Shark Tank. A report by The Indian Express mentions that the makers revealed that they received over 1500 applicants, and they were filtered out to 50 finalists. Startup Singam, which will have 13 episodes, would feature three pitches per episode. It was launched on Jan 26th.

Located in Peelamedu, Goat Robotics manufactures AMRs that can greatly assist automotive industries in their material handling activities. The co-founders of Goat Robotics—Muthu, Mukesh, Dharmaraj, and Naveen—who are alumni of PSG Tech, pitched their AMRs before a panel of investors participating in the show.Goat Robotics' AMRs is equipped with A.I. and come in different shapes and can lift components weighing from a few kilograms to several tons, all autonomously. The team made their pitch, hoping to secure funding through this business reality TV show.

These AMRs by Goat Robotics are made in Tamil Nadu, and it is expected to gain support from a wider audience, especially from Coimbatore folks, through the show. The preview of their pitch was aired on Vijay TV's official YouTube page on Sunday. The full episode will be live shortly.
