US-based multinational coffeehouse chain Starbucks opened its 400th store in the world, 22nd in Tamil Nadu and 1st in Coimbatore today at the Urban Centre in Lakshmi Mills Compound. The Seattle-headquartered popular coffee shop said that its brand new store draws inspiration from the city's historic mills, and its space mirrors the rich blend of aspirations and dreams that define Coimbatore.This is a 5,500 sq.ft (overall area) aesthetic urban store offering hot and cold finest Starbucks Coffee and the brand's unique beverages. The Store's head said that the customers can taste delicious flavors of Hot/Cold coffee, Frappuccino, Tea and Cold brew and also enjoy their freshly assembled sandwiches, bagel, cinnamon swirl, croissant, wrap and much more from today.  They have also introduced Starbucks refreshers in two exciting flavors - Strawberry Acai and Mango Dragon Fruit. The beverages come in three sizes; Picco, Short, tall. The price in this store starts from Rs.180 (which is Rs.60 lesser than other metros) and goes all the way upto Rs.350. Totally 70 patrons can sit and take their selection of drinks and bites. Another floor is coming up. The customers can also enjoy Free wi-fi within the premises.

The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on all days.As an inaugural offer, from 8th to 11th March, the first 100 customers to visit the store each day will receive a free Starbucks Reusable Cup with their order.
