President of South India Chef’s Association and Celebrity Chef Damu was one of the 4 renowned chefs who tasted the variety of dishes prepared by the students of Catering Science & Hotel Management Department of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science (SRCAS) today and highly appreciated the students for the creativity and artistic presentation.
Dishes like Chocolate Cheese Cake, Lunch Box Cake, Rose Jelly, Blue and White Cheese Cake, Chocolate Doughnut, Baguette, Croissant, Cinnamon Roll, and Long John were prepared by the students and they were tasted by General Secretary of South India Chef’s Association Sheetharam Prasaad, Jr.Forum Coordinator Rajmohan along with The Residency Towers’ Culinary Director Ajeeth Janardhanan.
A press release from the college said that the event paved way for the students to meet the most experienced chefs and enthusiastically students interacted with them.
Principal & Secretary B.L.Shivakumar presided over the programme. Deena S., Director of the Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management welcomed the dignitaries.
Following the presentation of dishes, the Regional Culinary Meet ensued in which staff and students of various colleges in and around Coimbatore participated. The members of SICA elaborated on the details of the 6th Edition of SICA Culinary Competitions.
