Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar IAS has been named one of the 3 Collectors from the State to receive a special award from TN Governor R.N.Ravi for his excellent performance during election and voter-list revision works.

He will be receiving the award during National Voters Day celebrations scheduled to be held on 25th of January at Raj Bhavan. The very next day, Coimbatore-based Idhayangal Charitable Trust and J.Swarnalatha, Managing Trustee of Swarga Foundation will receive the 2024 Governor’s Award under the social service categories.

The awards will be presented during 'AT HOME' Reception on Republic Day on 26.01.2025 at Raj Bhavan, Chennai. Idhayangal will receive Rs.5 lakhs cash reward and citation while Ms.Swarnalatha will receive Rs. 2 lakhs cash reward and citation.
