Coimbatore-based Vilva Jewels unveiled its exclusive Diwali Jewellery Collection on Sunday at its boutique in RS Puram.

 

Vijayakumar, Founder and Venkatesh, MD, Vilva Jewels unveiled the Ratna Collection-a range of silver jewellery that embodies the spirit of the festive season. 

 

"This collection combines traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, offering elegant pieces that are perfect for the grandeur and vibrancy of Diwali. The Ratna Collection is a tribute to the rich heritage of silver jewellery and a reflection of the meticulous artistry that defines Vilva Jewels," the jewellers said via a press release.

Speaking at a media conference prior to the inaugural, Vijayakumar said that they launched their first outlet in Coimbatore in 2020 and started offering customers premium Gold-plated silver jewellery, specializing in making handcrafted Odiyaanams, (hip-belts) besides Harams, Bangles and Earrings. 

 

Vilva Jewels use of 92.5 Hallmark silver, according to its website. A press release also underlined that the timeless pieces they offer are made from 92.5% silver. With incredible craftsmanship, they create gold-plated silver jewellery that fulfills the desires of this who is aspire to have affordable yet premium quality jewels. 

 

"Set our gold-plated silver jewels and while gold jewels side by side, and you won't be able to tell the difference," challenges Vijayakumar, the Founder of Vilva jewels.

It has over 1500 designs for hip-belts alone.These versatile and stylish belts have become a signature offering at Vilva Jewels, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. 

 

When asked about its resale value, Vijayakumar said that Vilva is always ready to buy back the silver jewels from customers who bought from it at 20% above of the current market rate of silver. 

Those who require whole gold jewellery can also get that from Vilva at low wastage and labour charge. 

 

"All our jewels are made by artisans who make gold jewels," Vijayakumar said. Customers can pick from Vilva's extensive designs and get their gold jewels too, he added.

Vilva currently has its flagship store in Coimbatore. It has its outlet in Coimbatore International Airport and it recently started its new branch in Anna Nagar, Chennai. It is in plans to start a branch in Madurai.

 

It must be mentioned that Vilva is the first retail jewellery shop to hold 1000 kg stock of silver jewellery in India.
