Southern Railways announced on Wednesday that changes in 2 train services connecting Coimbatore were made to facilitate track maintenance works taking place in a few locations in the Palakkad division. 

Accordingly, Train No. 56604 Shoranur Junction - Coimbatore Junction Passenger journey commencing on 11th, 17th, 22nd, 25th, 29th April 2025 & 02nd, 06th May 2025 from Shoranur Junction will be regulated by 01 hour 10 minutes en- route.

Similarly, Train No. 22610 Coimbatore Junction- Mangaluru Central Intercity Superfast Express journey commencing on 12th April 2025 from Coimbatore Junction will be regulated by 01 hour en- route.

Meanwhile, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Coimbatore Express will run on a Diverted Route and it will skip some Stoppages in order to facilitate construction of a road under bridge between Bengaluru East - Bengaluru Cantonment stations.

Train No.11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Coimbatore Express, scheduled to leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.35 p.m. on 02 & 06 April, 2025, will be operated on a Diverted Route between Gauribidanur Hosur via Yelahanka, Yesvantpur and Banaswadi.

Consequently, the train will skip the stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment and KSR Bengaluru railway stations on 03 & 07 April, 2025. An Alternative Stoppage will be provided at Yesvantpur railway station. It will halt and pass at 9.20 p.m. and 9.40 p.m. during these days.
