Southern Railways announced on Friday that a couple of train services will be fully cancelled while a pair of train service will skip Coimbatore Junction in order to facilitate track renewal works at Coimbatore North Railway Yard on 16.03.2025.

Accordingly, Train No.66611 Mettupalayam - Podanur MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 08.20 a.m., will be fully cancelled and the returning train Podanur - Mettupalayam MEMU, scheduled to leave Podanur at 09.40 a.,., will be fully cancelled on 16.03.2025.

On the other hand,Train No.13352 Alappuzha - Dhanbad Express, scheduled to leave Alappuzha at 06.00 a.m.on 16.03.2025, will be operated via Podanur- Irugur, skipping Coimbatore Jn. Hence, the train will have an alternative stoppage at Podanur Jn. Timings at Podanur Jn -12.17 p.m.

Also, Train No.12678 Ernakulam - KSR Bengaluru Express,scheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn at 09.10 a.m.on 16.03.2025, will be operated via Podanur - Irugur, skipping Coimbatore Jn. Hence, the train will have an alternative stoppage at Podanur Jn. Timings at Podanur Jn 12.47 p.m.
