Coimbatore Builders and Contactors Association (CEBACA) organized a special session for the stakeholders of the Construction Sector in and around Coimbatore to hear from the makers of PSG Convention Center, one of the most iconic Convention Centers in India, about the making of this incredible edifice on Friday.

This convention center is the latest offering from the PSG & Sons’ Charities to Coimbatore city. This Center is built in PSG iTech Campus, Neelambur which is special and unique in many ways. It is built to be the perfect venue for hosting professional Conferences, Cultural Events, and many more at Coimbatore.


Its Concept, Enormous size of 1500 seating capacity, Aesthetic look, Functionality, Usage of Innovative materials, Methodology of Construction, Excellent interior and exterior, landscaping and many more make it a wonder, according to CEBACA.

S.G.Swaminathan, President of CEBACA said “this Convention Center of international standards certainly adds great value to Coimbatore. It is a harmonious amalgamation of modern architecture and engineering with visionary execution, and it needs to be explored by all stakeholders of the construction sector in Coimbatore. Hence CEBACA has organized a special session at the convention center where the brains behind the birth of this beautiful edifice came together to elaborate on the constraints and challenges that were faced, and how they were overcome while building this megastructure."

The speakers included Dr.N. Saravanakumar from PSG iTech (Project Lead), Ar.Sangeeth Sharma of SD Sharma & Associates, Chandigarh (Architectural Planning), Dr.L.S.Jayagopal of Mithran Structure, Coimbatore (Structural Design), Ar.LakshmiRajasiddharth of Vista Architects & Interior Designers, Coimbatore (Form, Interior & Landscape Design) 


“Members of all construction industry associations, in and around Coimbatore including Erode, Tiruppur, Pollachi, Palladam, Udunmalpet participated. Also PG students and Faculty from Engineering & Architectural colleges to took part in this interactive session”, he added.

Around 1010 delegates participated. CEBACA had formed a panel headed by President S.G.Swaminathan, with honorary secretary S.P.Ramanathan, coordinator A.Sridhar, and other office bearers to oversee this event.
