College of Nursing, under Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRIPMS), held its 34th Graduation Day recently.

206 UG graduates and 13 PG graduates received their degree certificate from the Chief Guest Dr.K.Ramu, Dean, RR Nursing Institutions, Bengaluru in the presence of D. Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, S.N.R Sons Charitable Trust and Principal Dr.T.Nirmala.

12 special awards were presented at the event to the students with outstanding academic performances. K.Raja, Sandhya.S and Rahmathnilofarnisha.M were bestowed with the Overall Best Outgoing Student (UG)- Gold medals for the batch of 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Keerthi.P, Suvitha.R and Gayathri. M were bestowed with the Overall Best Outgoing Student (PG)- Gold Medals for the batch of 2017,2018 and 2019 respectively.

A press release mentioned that the Chief Guest in his convocational address mentioned that Nursing is a noble profession and he insisted the nurses to inculcate the confidence, knowledge and skills to create a change for the betterment of the society. He highly appreciated the contribution of nurses during pandemic.
