Singai G. Ramachandran, AIADMK IT Wing Coimbatore Zone Secretary, has been invited by the US government for a
three-week training on the 82-year-old International Visitor Leadership Program on Young Politicians.


The training's main objective is to train the current and emerging young leaders to promote the richness and diversity of international political system, industrial education, economic, social, and cultural life.


A total of 5,000 emerging leaders from all over the world are invited to this event every year and selected for the three-week training will be recommended by the US Embassy only.


The program has been attended by current and former heads of state and government leaders from various countries and former prime ministers, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Indira Gandhi, Morarji Desai and present Prime Minister, Narendra Modi
have participated in this program.


This year, Singai G Ramachandran, a resident of Singanallur in the city, has been invited to attend the program and is Electronics and Communication Engineering degree and MBA degree holder.


He was appointed as the State Secretary of AIADMK Information Technology Wing by the late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr. J. Jayalalithaa and is presently the Secretary of AIADMK Information Technology Wing, Coimbatore Zone.
He will be traveling to the US on January 27.
