Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College’s Alumni Association (Parent Chapter) held its Annual Alumni Meet and AGM on Sunday, and also distributed Scholarships worth Rs. 11 lakh to deserving economically weak and academically sound students. 

A press release mentioned that the First batch alumni provided 100% tuition fee as sponsorship for 7 students. Around 35 students benefitted through the various Alumni scholarship schemes.

At the AGM N.R.Alamelu, Patron & Principal, SREC and SREC AA offered Felicitation. The incoming President Veena Ramesh  wished  Outgoing President S.Vasanth Kumar, Outgoing Secretary C.J.Thomas Renald and the outgoing officebearers the best and pledged to take SREC AA activities with full might.
