10 Downing Street, an 8 year-old popular restobar at Goldwins, Coimbatore reopened its doors to patrons on Saturday after completing its renovation works. The establishment now has a strong Britain-inspired interior theme and has added something fresh to it.

Film actress Saskshi Agarwal participated in the relaunch as the chief guest and reopened the renovated establishment in the presence of Venkatesh & Priya, the franchise owners of 10 Downing Street.

Meeting the media persons after the relaunch, Sakshi Agarwal expressed that she is very happy to relaunch the restobar and congratulated the whole team. The owners have changed the entire interior. The British-style theme used in the premises has neatly made woodworks, furniture, lights, antique clocks, a new bar counter, and a few iconic English pop culture tributes here and there too. A snooker table has also been introduced in this relaunch.

On the food part, the representatives of 10 Downing Street said that they give top priority to the food served at the restobar, and added that as a part of their relaunch, they are going to introduce authentic Kongu-belt specialties including Arisi paruppu Saapadu, an imitated version of Anganan Biriyani, Karur-famous Garam/Thattu Vada Set, Coin Parotta & Chicken Pallipalayam besides their usual Continental, Chinese and Indian sides.

As a part of its Diwali offer, the restobar will offer 30% off on dishes till Diwali (for customers who make reservations). 10 Downing Street will function from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

It will offer valet parking. 30+ vehicles can be parked at its own parking lot. Complete CCTV surveillance has been provided according to a representative of the establishment. Adequate bouncers will monitor the restobar. When required, acting drivers/cabs will be arranged to patrons who cannot drive by themselves, the representative added.

When Sakshi was asked whether restobars are fine for women planning to try them, she said "today's generation are becoming very progressive. Things are changing very fast, and going to restobar is not restricted for men anymore. I think women are very independent, today; mentally, financialy, emotionally; they are very strong, beautiful and bold. Of course, if they feel like enjoying the ambience of a restobar they should."

She added that self awareness is very important in celebrations. "Being responsible & self aware is also very important. All things have their limits and when a person knows that, all places become safer," she remarked.
