The Alumni Association of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) in collaboration with the SPARK Incubation Foundation of SREC hosted the Entrepreneurs Alumni summit.  

 

The event designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurial growth brought together alumni entrepreneurs, aspiring student entrepreneurs and jury members from the industries for a day long impactful session.  

 

The summit was inaugurated by Mohemmed Aslam, Scientist G, and former Managing Director of BIRAC (DBT), Government India. In his inaugural address he emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing societal challenges and positioning the Indian startups on the global map. 

 

The panel discussions were led by Joe, CEO of EIT2.0, USA and P. Sivakumar, VP of StartupTN. The focus of the discussions was on startup scaling up, leveraging state and international resources for growth.  

 

The summit provided a great opportunity for the stakeholders of the startup eco system and aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their concepts and ideas for constructive feedback, mentorship and financial support.  

 

The Principal of SREC, A. Soundarrajan, highlighted the significance of such a summit in his opening remarks. N.R. Alamelu, Director(Academics), SNR Sons Charitable Trust, expressed delight that this summit could connect the entrepreneurs from different domains of technology for an effective networking and growth.   

 

The office bearers of the Alumni Association –Veena Ramesh, Amarnath and many others coordinated the event which attracted a good response of 100 members consisting of incubatees of the Centre. Thirukuralkani, Business Development Manager of the SREC SPARK Incubation Centre proposed the vote of thanks.
