Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Agricultural Microbiology Department is organizing an ICAR sponsored Centre for Advanced Faculty Training (CAFT) Training at the varsity for 21 days from 05.2.2024 to 25.2.2024.
The training is on the theme on ‘Microbe mediated plant growth promotion and soil Health: New Insights in Exploring Bioinoculants and Biostimulants’. It was inaugurated by R.Thamizh Vendan, Registrar, TNAU on Wednesday. The participants came from across the country for this training.
While delivering the inaugural address, R. Thamizh Vendan appreciated the department for the various activities & research on plant microbe interactions and he highlighted the contribution made by this department in high instrument facilities, international projects and congratulated all the participants. At the occasion Dr. R. Thamizh Vendan, the chief guest released the CAFT training manual.
Earlier U. Sivakumar, Professor & Head of the Agricultural Microbiology Department welcomed the gathering. Prof.T. Kalaiselvi, Professor formally rendered the note of gratitude.
